I have just finished cleaning my flat! Well, trying the clean the flat as there is always something else to do.
As I live on a main road cleaning the flat is quite a monster task. Due to all the dust from the road, the soot from the exhaust of all the vehicles passing through, the exhaust from cars which stop by to buy something from the take-away opposite, from the construction waste as there is always a construction site somewhere close (which is very annoying) – everything, and I mean literally everything is covered in a layer of dust.
It is very much like my flat went through a powerful sandstorm.
I make this harder on myself as I tend to hoard items so my flat is full of stuff which I hardly need and very rarely use, so cleaning always involves moving all this junk out of the way and then putting them back.
Anyway, I have done my best and now need to rest.
Off to prepare a quick lunch now!
