This park is one of Malta’s most beautiful parks and I think they have done a fantastic job about it.

I haven’t visited for quite a few years now and it has changed, grown and improved quite a lot. The paths are well spaced out and there is a good mix of pathways and vegetation that really does offer an area where a person can relax under the trees without being too crammed.

Impressive and beautiful except for the one area where some wisecrack decided that dumping a layer of inert gravel over the grass area was “going to help the grass” or at least that is what was claimed.

Enjoyed a good hour or so walking around the park and, to make it all the more interesting, there was a Worker’s Festival running with some interesting stalls.

If you have chance when visiting the island do try and work a visit into your schedule. As a plus there is the Ta Qali Artisan Village close by which is also well worth a visit.
