Well well well.. It is day 9 (I think.. Losing count now) since I planted the seeds.
As I said in the first post on the seeds (you can find that here.. ) I expected no movement before some 15 days but it seems some seeds were eager to see what Malta is like. The seeds having been sent from bonny Scotland by my sister.

So on day 9 since the planting, which I am referring to as P+9 as per title of this post, out on my balcony having a light breakfast consisting of a banana and a mug of coffee I sit near my seeds and have a little chat with them. It seems that, indeed, talking to them does help. 😁
And, I am quite serious when I say this, seeing them sprout is a moment of satisfaction. A mini victory if you wish.
I am now advised that I must separate and give each a separate pot in order to ensure that they have enough space and soil to be able to grow and start to produce..
These seeds, the first to germinate, are Marigolds by the way. So looking forward to seeing their cheerful golden orange flowers gracing my balcony.
Thanks sis.. 👍👍
