It has been just over 3 weeks since I planted the seeds I received from Scotland – Borage, Nasturtium, Chives, Marigolds and Cornflower. All have finally made an appearance, the last to do so being the Chives who have been slenderly breaking the surface of the soil in the past few days.

The Nasturtium is surprisingly eager – having sprouted quite a few days after the Borage, Marigolds & Cornflower – they are growing fast.

They are all growing nicely and look quite healthy and handsome, if you can say such about plants. 🙂
I have also acquired a few more pots and soil as I will need to separate the seedlings sometime soon.

Take some mint cuttings to root, or make some tea so your plant will get bushier rather than lanky. Your seedlings look great! Happy growing.
Hi Carolee,
Thank you for the tip, I do use it to make mint tea.. Absolutely fantastic.
Will do as you have suggested also.
